The El Mirador farm was founded in 1972 in the village of San Agustín, municipality of Planadas, Tolima, Colombia, at an altitude of 1,750 to 1,830 meters above sea level. The farm was founded by José Elicio Gutiérrez and Luz Elida Avilés. The Gutierrez family is dedicated to the production of differentiated coffees in the new fermentation and drying protocols that have been developed over the years and also have organic certification and fair trade where the main objective is to contribute to the environment with the conversation of soils, fauna and flora. The farm is cultivated under a semi-shade system and being more friendly with nature.
